Every year The Globe & Mail hosts the Cannes Young Lions competition to determine which young Canadian creatives will go to Cannes, France to represent the country in four categories.

The client for 2011’s competition was the Stephen Lewis Foundation, a large supporter of grassroots organizations that work to turn the tide of HIV/AIDS in Africa. The campaign was to concentrate on the important role women, specifically grandmothers, play in leading Africa out of the AIDS pandemic.

This is my entry, created with copywriter Shivani Sharma. We ended up placing second in the print category.
